UNEP DTU Partnership: Joseph Pallant explains NFTs through Cryptokitties

This webinar is hosted by UNEP DTU Partnership (UDP) and the TIM research group at the TU Berlin. Their analysis of the Katowice COP24 Article 6 negotiation text provides the understanding to discuss potential blockchain designs and trade-offs to address existing carbon market barriers or enhance efficiency and transparency of the mechanism.

The webinar was developed in collaboration with the Blockchain for Climate Foundation, BLOC, the World Bank Group and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The goal is to jointly develop a more nuanced understanding of the technology's potential and inform decision makers on the application of a DLT/blockchain solution to Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.
