Joseph presents on Energy Transition panel at Sustainable Innovation Forum

The 9th annual Sustainable Innovation Forum was an official affiliate event of COP24 and built on past success to deliver the most engaging, informative and wide reaching Forum yet. “Sustainable Innovation Forum presented a crucial opportunity to drive forward the Paris Agreement framework by bringing together 600 delegates engaged with fast tracking the global green economy. “

Blockchain for Climate founder Joseph Pallant participated in the Panel Debate: “Energy Transitions advancing innovation in technology and financing for a low carbon future.” Panelists included Connie Hedegaard, Chair of the Board, KR Foundation, Dr. Dieter Vollkommer, Corporate Vice President Sustainability, Siemens AG and others. Joseph was speaking on behalf of Blockchain for Climate Foundation, as well as the Blockchain Climate Institute, where he acts as Director of Impact.

“Speaking on a panel with such august individuals as Connie Hedegaard and the VP Sustainability at Siemens was a deep honour. I’ve been a fan of Ms. Hedegaard. Her passion for beating climate change has been evident from her role as President of COP15 in Copenhagen, through her years as European Commissioner for Climate Action to today. It was fun to engage this deeply experienced panel with insights onto the climate fight gleaned from a new blockchain paradigm.”
